At the end of 2022 we had the opportunity to pitch for Honda. The client loved the work, we won the account and this campaign went to market with minimal changes.
Honda were eager to pull themselves away from an aging market and appeal to a younger driver. They sought to be modern, youthful and premium.
I wanted to created something that you could not ignore, something bold and unexpected.
Leaning into their brand positioning ‘What Dreams are Made of’ I established the KLV by surrounding the ZR-V with clouds and intentionally shot the car at very dramatic angles to dial up the attitude.
Being prominently a digital roll out, once launched, the acid green, violet and turquoise were impossible to ignore against a grey winter backdrop.
We pushed the boat out and for every billboard placement executed both a day a night version so that it would transition.
This one was a true team effort and was a brilliant moment for the agency.
